Weekend in Branson

This past weekend was our fall break at the University of Memphis. We had Monday and Tuesday off, so Albert and I met my parents in Branson for a relaxing and fun weekend. We were both in need of a break, and we had a great time!

Of course, we spent a day at Silver Dollar City seeing all the sights...

Took a tour of Marvel Cave...

Saw the Saloon show...

Went to the glass blowers shop (my personal favorite)...

And spent some time in jail (just to name a few).

We also did some shopping at the Grand Village, as well as the Outlets.  I snagged a fabulous new purse from the Coach Outlet.  (Sorry, no picture.)  And on Saturday night, we saw the Presley's show, which I think is the longest running (or one of the longest running) shows in Branson.  It was definitely good for a couple of laughs.

Finally, we went to the Butterfly Palace.  I could have spent hours here.  This was definitely my favorite part of the weekend.

This was such a fun weekend, and I can't wait to go back!  For now though, it's back to our everyday lives.  As soon as I can figure out how to post videos, I will write an update on what's been going on over the last couple of weeks.  I have numerous performances coming up in the next couple of weeks, so hopefully I will have good things to report about all of them.  :)
