Slacking off

So, I realize that I've completely let the blog go for almost an entire year, but I'm going to try to start posting again.  I don't know if anyone is even still checking it, but it does prompt me to take lots of pictures, which is nice for me.  The first few posts will probably be mostly pictures from the past few months.  Enjoy!

For my birthday, Albert, with the help of a group of my friends, threw me a surprise party...at my own house!

 Opening gifts - they also had a cake, drinks and flowers for me!  Plus they decorated the house with balloons and streamers!

I was a little suspicious that something was going on when Albert took it upon himself to do some cleaning around the house prior to that night, but I can honestly say that I didn't expect all of that!  I have such great friends, and such a wonderful husband to do all of this for me.  :)  It was a great birthday!
