This morning at 6:30, Albert got out of bed in order to get ready for the 8:00 class he teaches. A few minutes later, he came back into the room and said
"School is closed today."
"What?"
"There is no school today."
"Why?"
"Look outside."
At least four inches of snow had fallen by 6:30 this morning, and it was still coming down. So, today we have another snow day. This was supposed to be the beginning of the fifth week of the semester, yet we have only had one full week so far! We are under a Winter Storm Warning until 4:00 today. The temperature is now above freezing, but the news is saying that we may see more snow this evening after the temperature drops back down. So, we'll see what happens...
Here is a video (from the snow day last weekend) of Darcy chattering at all the birds in the backyard. If you've never seen a cat "chatter," it's pretty funny (although this isn't the best video). Oh, and don't mind Albert yelling at a video game in the background. :)
