What's for dinner?

I don't know about you, but at our house, we have a list of what I like to call our "regular" dinners.  We usually plan our meals for the whole week and do our grocery shopping on Sunday afternoons.  When we are choosing what meals to eat for the week, we typically choose from our list of "regulars."  These are meals that we have prepared before - so we know how to cook them, and we know that we both like them.

Now, even though we have a fairly long list of dinners that we choose from, sometimes we both long for something new and different for dinner.  So, I love it when we prepare a new meal that we both like, and that we can add to our list!  Last week, Albert suggested we do stir-fry vegetables with noodles.  This is a dinner that is similar to a couple of other dinners on our list (ie. fried rice), but with some slight variations.

It was so good!  It tasted every bit as good as it looks.  :)  We used red and green peppers, asparagus, broccoli, celery, carrots and chow mein noodles, with a little bit of soy sauce and a touch of sesame seed oil.  I told Albert that I couldn't believe that we hadn't made this before.  He said that it was one of his favorite meals growing up, but that he just always forgets about it.  Well, I certainly won't be forgetting this one!

What are some of your favorite dinners?
