Well, last week was a loooong week. I haven't been feeling very well for awhile now. Nothing specific - I just feel completely drained, and have not been sleeping very well. Unfortunately for me, those particular symptoms do not aide much in my attempt to work out regularly. Most days last week, it was a struggle simply to get the things done that HAD to be done, so strenuous physical activity was definitely not on my radar. That being said, only 3 workouts this week:
Monday - finally sunny, so hit the pavement for about 2 miles (was much more difficult than it probably should have been...)
Tuesday - Pilates video
Thursday - 5.6 miles on the bike, plus crunches and push-ups
I'm hoping to be able to get into the doctor this week to maybe get some insight into why I am feeling this way. Finding time for a doctor's appointment could be difficult since this is a pretty busy week for me. Actually, the entire month of October will be pretty jam packed, but I guess that means there will be plenty to blog about (lots of performances, especially late in the month, as well as a couple of fun out of town trips). So, hopefully I will get to feeling better so I can actually enjoy everything that is going on.
Tomorrow is the second trombone recital of the tour. This time we are headed to Mississippi. When I post about that later this week, I'm going to try to include some audio recordings. Wish me luck!
